LiuGong Launcher First Overseas LiuGong University in Indonesia

Depok, December 9, 2025 — PT LiuGong Machinery Indonesia has officially launched the Indonesian branch of LiuGong University, marking the establishment of the company’s first global talent development institution outside China.

The inauguration was held at Politeknik Negeri Jakarta in Depok, West Java, and was attended by distinguished guests including Educational and Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Beijing Yudil Chatim; Human Resource Senior Director of Guangxi LiuGong, Lu Lei; Human Resource Director Tan Xingping; and President Director of LiuGong Indonesia, Levi Lin.

Leaders from LiuGong’s partner educational institutions were also present, including Director of Politeknik Negeri Jakarta Syamsurizal, Director of Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya Irawan Rusnadi, and Director of Politeknik Negeri Padang Surfa Yondri. Additional attendees included Director of Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan Emil Azmanajaya, Vice Rector for Research, Business Development, and Cooperation of Universitas Gadjah Mada Danang Sri Hadmoko, and Dean of the Vocational School of Universitas Gadjah Mada Agus Maryono.

President Director of LiuGong Indonesia Levi Lin stated that this strategic initiative demonstrates LiuGong’s long-term commitment to strengthening localization, enhancing human resource capabilities, and expanding the company’s contribution to talent development in regions where LiuGong operates.

The launch of the Indonesian branch marks a new chapter in the global expansion of LiuGong University and reaffirms the company’s dedication to knowledge transfer, international collaboration, and the acceleration of local talent development.

The Indonesian branch of LiuGong University implements the “Zero-Degree Engine” learning framework—an integrated competency development model designed to build local and international talent simultaneously. This model aims to:

The launching of the Indonesian branch also signifies deeper collaboration between LiuGong and local educational institutions.
